The short version

No accounts, no personal data collected. Everything stays on your device unless a section below says otherwise — and we don't sell data, ever.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you — no accounts, no names, no email addresses. Whatever this extension stores (settings, saved data) is kept in your browser via chrome.storage, on this device only.

Permissions and what they're for

storage: Store which sites and surfaces you turned on, the snooze duration, and the date of the last selector check
scripting: Register the CSS/JS that hides the feed on the sites you've turned on, and remove it when you turn a site off
alarms: Schedule the return to the hidden state when a snooze period ends
idle: Return the feed to its hidden state when you step away from the computer
activeTab: Show which supported site you're currently on in the popup

Optional site access, requested one site at a time and only when you turn that site on — never at install: https://*.youtube.com/*, https://*.instagram.com/*, https://*.twitter.com/*, https://*.x.com/*, https://*.tiktok.com/*, https://*.reddit.com/*, https://*.facebook.com/*, https://*.linkedin.com/*. Turning a site back off removes its access.

Every permission above is used for one thing: the single purpose this extension exists for. Nothing is used for anything else.

This extension reads the content of the page you're on —only on the sites listed above, or when you activate it. That content is processed locally, in your browser, and is not sent to us.

Data leaving your browser

This extension does not send any data to us or to third-party servers.

Analytics

This extension does not collect analytics.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, and any data this extension collects, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We don't sell user data. We don't use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to this extension's single stated purpose, to determine creditworthiness or for lending, or to serve advertising.

No remote code

All code ships inside the extension package reviewed by the Chrome Web Store. Nothing is downloaded or loaded from a server at runtime.

Third parties

Other than what's listed above, we don't share, sell, or transfer data to anyone.

Children

This extension is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Deleting your data

Removing the extension removes everything stored locally in your browser. Since we don't hold anything tied to your identity on our side, there's nothing further to delete on request — but you're welcome to reach out with any questions.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
